I picked this game up about six months or so after it came out. The low review scores you see are because it doesn't really deliver on much beyond that. All that being said, if you take Sniper Elite III for what it is, a stealth-based third-person shooter game in which you can shoot hundreds of Nazis faces/testicles off, it delivers on that. The stakes remain fairly low throughout the game. The story is paper thin (mad scientist Nazi creates super-weapon even Hitler wouldn't be cool with) and the characters are as one-dimensional as they get. If you expect blockbuster level story from your games, this one isn't for you. ![]() 2.) I personally enjoy playing on the Sniper Elite difficulty, where realistic physics apply and headshots are not guaranteed on every shot. You will enjoy SEIII if: 1.) Sniper Elite III is a game that could be great, but isn't quite there. ![]() This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. ![]()
